Somatic style yoga begins with the body, offering a foundational approach that prioritises connection and coming home to yourself.

This practice encourages you to take the time to tune into your body, acknowledge the emotions that arise, and fully experience them before the mind assigns its own interpretations.

Through this process, we gain a profound insight into our internal world.

When our body experiences pain, it's communicating with us. Yoga provides the avenue to truly listen and understand what it's saying!

Fascia

Fascia plays a vital role in our overall health and nurturing it can lead to profound healing. As the most abundant and widespread connective tissue in our body, fascia shapes and supports everything within us. It surrounds and connects our cells, organs, muscles, bones, ligaments, nerves, and even brain matter.

Composed of 90% collagen, fascia helps transport fluid and energy, facilitating smooth communication within our body. It serves as an internal network, carrying your unique life experiences. When fascia is healthy, it not only supports physical alignment but also contributes to mental wellbeing, allowing for effortless movement.

By taking care of your fascia, you can experience improved mobility, reduced pain, and even support healthy aging and the appearance of cellulite. Prioritising fascia health is a key step toward feeling balanced, vibrant, and at ease.

I specialise in a practice called Fascia flossing and have trained with Bonnie Crotzer recently seen in Vogue.

I offer one-on-one sessions at my home in Upminster, Essex, where we can create a personalised approach to support your healing and relaxation. Through the combination of movement, breath, and sound, we can work together to nurture your well-being.

If you'd prefer, I come to you, we can discuss this during our consultation call. And if the weather is in our favour, we may even take our sessions outdoors and experience the healing power of nature.

I have attended two 1-1 sessions with Fawn as well one of the her classes. Our 1-1 session was extremely emotionally relieving, Fawn was able to prescribe a specific set of poses to meet with my intention for the session allowing me a deep emotional release, something I can struggle with as a man. With one of the hip exercises I actually begin to tear up, Fawn was able to continue the flow whilst honouring my process guiding me verbally, helping me into further postures to deepen this process.
